The Division of Surgical and Critical Care operates across the Gold Coast Health Service District providing acute care services and some outreach programs.

• Unit at Gold Coast Hospital accepts departmental admissions
• Parenteral Therapy Services
• A second Intensive Care Unit is due to open at Robina Hospital
• High Dependency Unit at Robina Hospital
• It will have a 10 bed combined intensive care and coronorary care unit.
