Robina Hospital is located in Bayberry Lane, Robina and currently provides 210 beds for the local growing Gold Coast community. It is a teaching hospital for Bond University and Griffith University.

Robina Hospital Expansion
The redevelopment of Robina Hospital's will deliver an additional 179 beds and a wider range of health services to the Gold Coast Community.
Robina Hospital's $42 million stage one expansion delivered 25 beds in September 2007 included in a new emergency department, intensive care/coronary care unit, expanded renal services and increased pathology, medical imaging, pharmacy and medical records departments.
The $287.7 million stage two and three expansion of Robina Hospital is on track to transform it into a 364 bed teaching hospital by mid 2011, with the refurbishment of original buildings due for completion in mid 2012.
Transport
The Gold Coast is serviced by two nearby airports - The Brisbane Airport, and Gold Coast Airport.
By car, Robina is approximately 60 minutes drive from the centre of Brisbane via the Gold Coast motorway or about 20-25 minutes drive from Southport via Bermuda St and Robina parkway. The Robina train station is adjacent to the hospital and Surfside Bus Service runs regular service from Robina town which is a short walk from the hospital. The District runs a free shuttle bus between Gold Coast Hospital, Robina Hospital and Carrara Health Centre five times per day on weekdays.

Robina has a busy Emergency Department with 23 treatment places plus a 12 bed short stay unit.
Three operating theatres and one day procedure room are present at Robina Hospital, with an average of around 360 elective surgical cases per month. A 24/7 emergency surgery service commenced on 2 June 2008.
Robina also has a combined ICU/CCU which has capacity for 10 patients and can support up to four ventilated patients.
32 acute medical beds, 30 acute surgical beds and 30 bed rehabilitation unit provide care for inpatients.
Robina is also the home of a large integrated Mental Health service with 96 inpatient beds covering the whole spectrum from acute presentation to long term rehabilitation.
